KUCHING, Dec 17: Leading aerospace company Boeing has expressed its commitment to supporting the Sarawak government’s vision for the future of the aviation sector, under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
In a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Boeing Japan president Eric G. John praised Abang Johari for his clear and compelling vision for the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in the aviation industry.
“First and foremost, we are thrilled to meet with the Premier of Sarawak. What stands out to me is his vision for sustainable aviation and sustainable fuels in Malaysia.
“Secondly, his vision for the development of Sarawak. Having spent much time in Southeast Asia, I wholeheartedly support his ideas,” he said in an interview with Ukas and TVS at Boeing’s Japan headquarters in Tokyo today.
He also highlighted a key point of their discussion—exploring how Boeing could collaborate with Sarawak to grow together and contribute to the Premier’s vision.
