MIRI, Sept 4: The body of a man was found floating in the river behind a factory in Kuala Baram on Sunday night (Sept 3).
Lutong Fire and Rescue (Bomba) station chief Senior Fire Officer II Henry Jugah said the body was found by members of the public around 11pm.
He said the report was received after that, and firefighters went straight to the scene of the incident.
“Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, it was found that the body was still in the river.
“The fire brigade then acted to lift the body to the river bank,” he said in a statement.
He added that no identification was found on the body.
The body was then handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
