KUCHING, Dec 8: The body of a 23-year-old man who was feared to have drowned after going missing in a pond near workers’ quarters in Simpang Rumah Kiroh Bali, Tatau, was found today.
In a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the body was found at the bottom of the pond at a depth of six metres.

Upon retrieval, the body was then handed over to the police for further action.
On Sunday (Dec 7), it was reported that the victim, Daniel Jumau, had gone to bathe in the pond in the afternoon but did not return.
Only his towel and slippers were found at the site, raising fears that he may have fallen into the water. — DayakDaily
