Due to the daily increase of Covid-19 cases in Sarawak, the Sarawak government has decided to implement more stringent measures to curb the spread of pandemic among the community and put a stop to the surging number of cases.

Yesterday, State Disaster Management Committee announced a full lockdown in Sarawak from May 29 to June 11, even though a drastic move will effect Sarawakians and their livelihood, for the safety of Sarawakians in general.

Following such a drastic move to curb Covid-19, the Sarawak government today announced BKSS 6.0 which consisted of 14 financial measures to lighten the burden of Sarawakians.

The Sarawak government has previously implemented five BKSS packages worth more than RM3.1 billion which had helped to ease the burden of the people. — DayakDaily
