KUCHING, March 17: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad’s new chief executive officer (CEO), Ruslan Abdul Ghani, has renewed the company’s commitment to supporting efforts of the Sarawak government in driving economic growth and creating job opportunities in Sarawak.
Ruslan conveyed this when leading a delegation to pay a courtesy call on the Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at the latter’s Office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday (March 16).
The delegation comprised Bintulu Port Group Corporate Services head Maslihah Tioh, executive assistant to Group CEO Nhaddya Wahed and its Corporate Communication manager Halfi Ideris.
Apart from strengthening cooperation in various aspects, their meeting also focused on exploring new investment opportunities and potential partnerships that would benefit both parties, according to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas).
Meanwhile, Ruslan took over the helm from former CEO Dato Mohammad Medan Abdullah following the end of his tenure, effective March 1, 2023.
Ruslan is determined to drive growth and create value for shareholders and customers, ensuring that the organisation remains at the forefront of the port and logistics chain. — DayakDaily
