Bintulu Port and Abu Dhabi Ports Group forge strategic partnership to boost maritime infrastructure

KUCHING, May 7: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) and Abu Dhabi Ports Group have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to foster long-term collaboration in port infrastructure development, maritime logistics, and related services — a move expected to benefit not only Bintulu Port but also other mutually strategic areas.

According to a TVS news report, Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Abu Dhabi today.

The agreement was formalised through the exchange of official documents between BPHB Group chief executive officer (CEO) Ruslan Abdul Ghani and Abu Dhabi Ports Group Regional CEO Ahmed Al Mutawa.

Also present were Deputy Premier of Sarawak Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Minister for Transport Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, and Tanjong Datu assemblyman cum Kuching Port Authority chairman Azizul Annuar Adenan. — DayakDaily
