Bintulu MP extends Hari Raya wishes to Kampung Assyakirin, Kampung Kuala Tatau communities

KUCHING, April 12: Bintulu MP Dato Sri Tiong King Sing conveyed his warm greetings and well wishes to the Muslim community of Kampung Assyakirin and Kampung Kuala Tatau in Bintulu.

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to the Muslim community during my visit to Kampung Assyakirin and Kuala Tatau, especially to Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee; Jepak Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women chief Noriha Ali; Kampung Assyakirin Phase 2 village chief, Abu Bakar Abd Razak; Kampung Assyakirin Phase 1 village chief, Pengiran Hamdan Pengiran Kerta; Kampung Hilir Kuala Tatau village chief, Sahiri Bohari; Penghulu Haliza Mudin; Kampung Haji Ismail village chief, Musa Saruji; Kampung Nour Iman village chief, Ramli Tema; Seberang Jaya village chief, Rozmiros Mesral; and many more,” he said in a statement issued yesterday.

Tiong, who is also the Federal Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (Motac), emphasised the importance of upholding the values of harmony, sharing, and tolerance, which are intrinsic to the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

“I pray that you all receive blessings in conjunction with this glorious Aidilfitri and that we can continue to practise the values of harmony, sharing, and tolerance among ourselves,” he remarked. — DayakDaily
