On the same day, a police team identified five suspects, aged 16 and 17, believed to be involved in the incident.

The following day, on June 29, the victim and his father went to the Sungai Asap police post to meet with the suspects and their families.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the incident actually occurred on June 10 and stemmed from the victim previously disturbing a cousin of one of the suspects,” he said.

Following the meeting between both families, the matter was settled amicably.

The victim’s father also appealed to the public to delete and refrain from sharing the video and images of his son on any social media platforms. — DayakDaily
