KUCHING, May 24: Beauty, facial, pedicure and manicure services are among the latest activities to be banned during Sarawak’s tightened Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period starting tomorrow (May 25).

Other activities under the Negative List by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) included the opening of swimming pools, gyms, workout studios for yoga and zumba, and cybercafe outlets.

Adding on, the committee also stated the prohibition of photography activities in the outdoors.

These are on top of the previous ban on the operation of night clubs, pubs, karaokes (including family karaokes), massage centres, spa and reflexology centres, wellness centres and cinemas.

Meanwhile in the creative industry, live performances at hotel lounges as well as indoor or outdoor busking are also not permitted.

SDMC said to disallow any activities gathering many people at one place where social distancing is hard to be observed. — DayakDaily
