GEDONG, Dec 29: Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee has presented donations to the family of a Form Five student who died in a road accident at Kampung Keniong Baru in Simunjan here recently.
The victim, who was a student of SMK Simunjan No 1, passed away last Monday (Dec 26) at Simunjan Hospital.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) yesterday, Rodiyah visited the bereaved family members and comforted them.
She was accompanied by community leaders Penghulu Francis Kunche and Kampung Keniong Baru village chief Steward.
Sympathising with the plight of the family, Rodiyah presented some donations to help ease the burden of the family.
The family also expressed their gratitude and thanks for Rodiyah’s concern and support. — DayakDaily
