Awang Tengah receives courtesy call from German Ambassador, discusses potential investment in industrial parks

KUCHING, June 15: The Sarawak government has invited German investors to explore potential investment opportunities in several industrial parks in the State including the Samajaya High Tech Park here as well as the Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan has conveyed Sarawak’s keen interests for collaborations in various sectors during a courtesy visit from German Ambassador to Malaysia Dr Peter Blomeyer to the former’s office here today.

According to a statement, both leaders discussed the various opportunities that could be explored between Sarawak and Germany during their hour-long meeting.


Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Urban Development Datu Len Talif Salleh, acting permanent secretary to the Ministry of International Trade and Investment Dzulkarnain Misron and Minstry’s special officer Datu Liaw Soon Eng. — DayakDaily
