KUCHING, April 23: Sarawak’s very own singer-songwriter, Asyraf Hardy, is doing his part to boost local businesses and street performers in his newly released Hustle Hasil music video.
According to a media release, the music video was created in a collaboration between TVS, Asyraf Hardy and Zeeqman Studios to promote the upcoming Hustle Hasil Season 2 programme.
Hustle Hasil, a magazine television programme featuring the backstories of successful local entrepreneurs, aims to motivate up-and-coming business owners in overcoming economic setbacks and challenges in businesses especially during the Covid-19 pandemic recovery period.
Hustle Hasil producer Mohd Muizzuddin pointed out that Asyraf, being one of the pioneers in the local hip hop music industry, was the perfect singer for this song.
“He has shown hard work and dedication in his works which were attributed in the music video,” he said.
Zeeqman Studios music video director Razeeq Sulaiman emphasised that this music video is an anthem of gratitude, inspiration and advice for the people of Sarawak.
Meanwhile, Asyraf expressed that he was overwhelmed and honoured to be a part of Hustle Hasil MV.
“I believe the show itself can further influence youngsters out there, encourage them to work hard and to believe in themselves. I am grateful to TVS for this opportunity,” he said.
The music video is fully produced in Kuching City, with many of its iconic landmarks being featured in the background.
