KUCHING, March 14: Kuching South City Hall (MBKS) is inviting the public to apply for stalls to sell food, beverages, and festive goods during Ramadan from April 3 to May 2 at the Stutong Commercial Centre and Stutong Community Market car parks.
Those interested in operating stalls at these sites may obtain application forms from One-Stop Service Counter 9 in the MBKS headquarters lobby at Jalan Padungan starting tomorrow (March 15) during office hours.
According to a statement from the council, all completed forms must be submitted to the aforementioned counter by 4pm on Monday (March 21), and any application submitted after that time will be disregarded.
All applicants must submit their food handler course certificate, proof of a medical checkup with typhoid vaccination (at their own expense), and a copy of their Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
Successful applicants must pay a commitment deposit fee of RM200 per stall to MBKS for trading at the Stutong Commercial Centre and Stutong Community Market car park area throughout the period of sale, which will be refunded upon compliance with the council’s terms and conditions.
MBKS also stated that it reserved the right to cancel the Ramadan Bazaar if the State Disaster Management Committee directs it to do so due to the Covid-19 situation or any other circumstances which warrant it. — DayakDaily
