Ambulance lands in drain after self-accident

The ambulance ended up stuck in the drain during the incident.

SIMANGGANG, Oct 6: A doctor and a nurse escaped unscathed when the ambulance they were in skidded into the drain near Pasar Sabu this morning.

The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre in a statement today said they received an emergency call from MERS 999 at 3.53am.

A team of 10 firefighters led by PBK II Chimiam Duyu from Sri Aman station was rushed to the scene of the incident.


The victims, including the driver of the ambulance, were later safely extricated by the firemen.

All three were reportedly unharmed and the operation ended at 4.15am. — DayakDaily
