The examination which is to be taken by all Primary Six students will only be postponed if the API reading exceeds 300.

As of 3pm, Kuching recorded an API of 249 and Sri Aman, 247.

Meanwhile, Samarahan which has been experiencing an API of more than 200, has shown an API of 199 as of 3 pm.  it is thus uncertain if schools in Samarahan will be closed.

DayakDaily has received confirmed that all schools in Padawan area, private schools in Kuching and all Chinese Primary schools as well as Chinese Independent schools will be closed tomorrow.

API of 0-50 indicates good air quality; 51- 100 is considered moderate; 101-200, unhealthy; 201-300, very unhealthy and above 300, hazardous. — DayakDaily
