KUCHING, Jan 7: Any parties wishing to organise any event, activity, gathering or social interaction in any venue, building and facility owned or managed by the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) must first gain written permission from the council.
The council recently observed MBKS’ properties being used by certain quarters for their activities without prior information.
“Applicants must follow the directives, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued from time to time by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), Ministry of Health (KKM) or the council,” said MBKS in a statement today.
It also reminded the public that the event or activity shall not be political and is subject to the council’s approval and such conditions it may impose. — DayakDaily
