KUCHING, Nov 3: Applications for permit to organise activities and to install temporary advertisement banners in areas under Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) jurisdiction must be submitted at least seven working days before the requested date of activities or to install the banners.

DBKU, in a media statement today, informed that this new guidelines is effective from Nov 1, 2020.

Each application must be completed with supporting documents.

For organisation of activity, documents needed include completed application form, letter of support, police permit, approval letter from State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), location plan and tent sketch.

For temporary advertisement banners, documents to be submitted include completed application form and visual sketch of advertisement which has been approved by Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka.

Thus, DBKU advised all applicants to comply with the latest guidelines in order to avoid any complications and delays in the approval process.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the Licensing Division Office at Jalan Depo or via email at les@dbku.gov.my
