Aidilfitri: Padawan residents in compliance with CMCO, revealed police chief

Padawan police praised residents for complying with CMCO measures during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period.

KUCHING, May 26: Padawan residents have been praised for showing a responsible attitude by obeying and following Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) measures during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

Padawan police had despatched four teams to patrol houses in the sub-district. The teams managed to check 49 houses on 24 May.

“We checked 12 houses on 26 May 2020 and no one was found violating the CMCO in this period,” Padawan police chief, Supt Aidil Bolhassan revealed in a statement.

“None of them returned to their hometown during the CMCO period.”

Aidil urged the public to continue to support and cooperate with the police in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“I also hope that everyone will responsible by obeying the CMCO, not only for their own sake but also for their family members and friends,” Aidil added. — DayakDaily
