BINTULU, June 9: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Women Wing has finalised its new committee line-up for the term 2023-2026 with Agnes Jonep elected as the new chief for the 2023-2026 term.
Agnes, who is the PDP Tasik Biru Division’s women chief, contested against one candidate.
She is taking over from Datuk Chiew Yen Chew who held the PDP women chief post for over 20 years.
Liew Muk Moi was elected as her deputy.
The result was revealed after the conclusion of the meeting and election during the party’s Triennal General Assembly (TGA) held today (June 9) at Dinner World Restaurant here.
PDP Women Wing’s new line-up is as follows:
1. Chairperson – Agnes Jonep
2. Deputy chairperson – Liew Muk Moi
3. Senior vice chairperson – Theresa Gelang
4. Vice chairperson I – Dius Kusam
5. Vice chairperson II – Mampak Mandaw
6. Vice chairperson III – Lim Goon Tee
The ordinary members of the PDP Women Wing include Anna Lau, Siti Zainab Abdullah, Marthadaria Michael, Yong Ching King, Dorothy Suut, Lamanu Talit, Ida Jais, Alyik Manding and Helen Kasing Labo. — DayakDaily
