KUCHING, March 1: Two houses located at Jalan Masjid Lama, Kg Dagang, Bekenu, Miri were completely consumed by fire earlier this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call around 2:30pm alerting them to the fire and immediately despatched a team to the scene.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that the fire had completely razed the two houses but firefighters managed to control and extinguish the flames to prevent the fire from spreading to a third house.
No one was reported injured during the incident. — DayakDaily
