KUCHING, Feb 21: Active Case Detection (ACD) programmes in Sibu are available between these few days at Zones 7, 15, 28 and 29 namely Tiong Hua, Sentosa, Permai and Jeriah areas.
This was revealed by State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) advisor Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian on his Facebook page today.
In Zone 7 Tiong Hua, the booths are set up at the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) multi-storey car park from yesterday (Feb 20) until 2pm today.
For Zone 15 Sentosa, medical staff would be stationed at Bukit Lima Nature Reserve between 10am to 2pm on Feb 22 and 23 to receive members of the public in getting tests.
As for Zones 28 Permai and 29 Jeriah, the swab test location is at Permai Lake Garden and open between 10am to 2pm on Feb 22 and 23.
Dr Sim urged Sibuans in those areas to step up and get tested for the benefits of everyone.
“Please help to come forward to protect yourself, your family, neighbours, friends, colleagues and your Sibu.
“Early detection prevents unintentional spreading of Covid-19 and prevent more severe infection of Covid-19,” he said. —DayakDaily
