ACCCIS to hold AGM 2022 on Sept 3 at Kingwood Hotel, Sibu

KUCHING, Aug 11: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022 on Saturday, Sept 3 at 9am at the Kingwood Hotel in Sibu.

According to a press release, Deputy Premier of Sarawak Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also the Minister for Public Health, Housing, and Local Government, will be the event’s guest of honour.

ACCCIS consists of 22 constituent members located throughout twelve divisions in Sarawak, including Kuching, Simanggang, Sibu, Miri, Sarikei, Bintulu, Limbang, Bau, Serian, Saratok, Bintangor, Kapit, Daro, Mukah, Batu Niah, Song, Sibuti, Baram, Lawas, Betong, Sebuyau, and Kanowit.

The following topics will be discussed at the upcoming AGM: first, adopting the annual report, second, accepting the Audited Financial Statement, third, proposed amendments to the ACCCIS Constitution, fourth, discussion on motions submitted by its constituent members, fifth, appointing an auditor, sixth, deciding the location of the next AGM, and finally, other matters. — DayakDaily
