ACCCIS to hold AGM 2021 digitally via Zoom

KUCHING, Aug 26: The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2021 digitally via video conferencing on Sept 4.

According to ACCCIS in a statement today, the AGM will start from 10am via Zoom due to the recent spike of Covid-19 cases throughout the state, especially in Kuching.

It is also to enable all delegates to participate in the meeting online, irrespective of where they are.


Among the matters to be discussed during the coming ACCCIS AGM include (1) to adopt the annual report, (2) to accept the Audited Financial Statement, (3) discussion on motions submitted by its constituent members, (4) to appoint Auditor and (5) to decide the venue of the next AGM.

President of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) cum President of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM), Datuk Low Kian Chuan, will be the guest of honour for the event.

As of the closing date for registration yesterday, ACCCIS has received the registration of over a hundred of the delegates and representatives from its 20 constituent members including Kuching, Simanggang, Sibu, Miri, Sarikei, Bintulu, Limbang, Bau, Serian, Saratok, Kapit, Daro, Mukah, Batu Niah, Sibuti, Baram, Lawas, Betong, Sebuyau, and Kanowit.

ACCCIS consists of 22 constituent members located throughout 12 divisions in the State. — DayakDaily
