Abang Mohamad Porkan is new Sri Aman Resident

KUCHING, Jan 11: Abang Mohamad Porkan Abang Budiman has been appointed as the new Sri Aman Division Resident effective January 3.

According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report, Abang Mohamad Porkan previously served in the Sarikei Division Resident’s Office replacing Sirai Daha who officially moved to the Ministry of Food Industry, Community and Regional Development of Sarawak (M-FICORD).

Acting Sri Aman Resident Elvis Didit officially handed over duties to Abang Mohamad Porkan at the meeting room of the Sri Aman Division Resident Office on Monday (Jan 9).

Elvis when met after the ceremony expressed hope that the new Resident will continue his vision of bringing more development to Sri Aman Division.

“I hope that the tasks that have not been carried out before can be continued by the new Resident and I call on all government agencies in Sri Aman Division to give all their support to the new Resident,” he said.

Meanwhile, Abang Mohamad Porkan also appealed for close collaboration and support from all officers in Sri Aman to allow him to deliver the best service to the Sri Aman community.

Also present were Sri Aman District Officer Bujang Sharif, Lubok Antu District Officer Richard Ngumbang, Pantu Acting District Officer Langgong Massam and Lingga Acting District Officer Frank Lani. — DayakDaily
