KUCHING, Dec 21: The reappointment of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg signifies not only a celebration of victory but also stability and continuity which are essential elements for a successful government.

In stating this, State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion said the State government services sees this as an opportunity to provide and improve their services.

He believed that to achieve success, what is important is the continued existence of a mutualistic relationship between the civil service in the State and political leadership.

“Such close cooperation is fundamental to address the ever-changing demands and needs of the people. As such, we must have many fundamental dimensions such as; knowing the right things to do, using the opportunity, creating harmony and showing true empathy towards the needs of the people,” he added.

Jaul is confident that the symbiotic relationship between civil service and political leaders under the able leadership of Abang Johari will be enhanced to ensure that the Sarawak government will successfully achieve the objectives of the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) by 2030. — DayakDaily
