KUCHING, July 14: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has clarified that Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) is not part of the coalition despite the latter’s collaboration with Progressive Democratic Party (PDP).
Describing the PDP-PSB collaboration as premature and has yet to reach a “conclusion”, he pointed out that it is in no way related to GPS.
“They (PSB and PDP) collaborate only, it (PSB) is not part of the GPS. It is a separate (party), nothing to do with GPS.
“Put it this way, they want to work with GPS, as far as PSB (is concerned) so they are working together.
“Maybe PSB works with PDP first, we will see-lah. However, I will discuss with my colleagues first,” he said after attending the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Innocement Sdn Bhd with SCG International and YTL Cement Berhad held at Grand Margherita Hotel here today.
Yesterday, PDP – a component party of GPS,signed an MoU with PSB as part of a collaboration. However, specific details of their collaboration have not been disclosed. — DayakDaily
