Abang Johari pays courtesy visit to PM Anwar Ibrahim

KUCHING, Nov 26: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the latter’s residence in Kuala Lumpur this morning.

Anwar in a Facebook post earlier said Abang Johari, who is the chairman of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), led a delegation during the visit.


“GPS is one of the pillars that formed the unity government led by me (Anwar).

“Insya-Allah, the relationship between the Federal government and the Sarawak government will definitely be closer and strengthened in creating a better Malaysia,” he wrote.

Also seen in the two photos uploaded by Anwar on the visit were Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) secretary general Datuk Ibrahim Baki and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail. — DayakDaily
