KUCHING, Aug 3: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg hopes that well-wishers can donate to the Covid-19 State Disaster Trust Fund for the State in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic instead of spending money on putting up advertisements to wish him happy birthday.
Abang Johari who is Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) president turns 71 tomorrow (Aug 4).
The Chief Minister’s Office in a statement today said he appreciates the kind gesture of friends and well-wishers who expressed their intention to congratulate him on his birthday. — DayakDaily
