93 yo woman oldest to be inoculated in Selangau

KUCHING, June 19: A 93-year-old woman from Selangau is the oldest person to receive Covid-19 vaccine at the SK Bukit Arip mobile vaccination centre (PPV).

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Sulong Sunang said she did not feel any pain when the vaccine was her first dose administered at the PPV.

“I hope that it will help to curb the spread of Covid-19 to other elderly like me,” she said.

SK Bukit Arip mobile vaccination centre  is the second PPV set up in Kakus constituency, which is designated for the local population in Sungai Arip, Sungai Anak, Sungai Bawan and Sungai Tau area. — DayakDaily
