KUCHING, Nov 27: An 80-year-old woman sustained minor injuries after crashing her car into a shoplot operating a bistro cafe on Jalan Padungan today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Padungan responded to the emergency at 10.50am and immediately deployed a team of firefighters to the scene.

Upon arrival, it was found that passersby had already helped the elderly driver out of the vehicle before Bomba’s team arrived.
Firefighters assessed the situation, ensuring there was no risk of fire, and provided first aid to the victim, who had sustained bruising and scratches to her right arm.
The woman was later transported to the hospital by her family members. — DayakDaily
