KUCHING, Sept 1: A seven-year-old boy was found dead after falling into a drain at Jalan Sebaru, Bintulu, on Sunday night (Aug 31).
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 8.45pm, and firefighters from the Bintulu station were deployed.

The surface searching technique was used to locate the victim, who was found drowned approximately two metres from where his clothes were found.
The victim, Ricky Peter Bandang, was pronounced dead by Health Ministry personnel who were at the scene, and his body was handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
