KUCHING, Sept 25: A 74-year-old motorcyclist was killed after his motorcycle collided with an ambulance at Mile 18, Kuching-Serian Road here today.
Padawan District Police Chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the accident occurred around 12.50pm when the motorcyclist was heading towards Serian.

“The accident involved a motorcycle and an ambulance of Serian Hospital which was carrying a patient from Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).
“The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene while the ambulance’s driver and passengers did not suffer any injuries,” he said in a statement today.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
