KUCHING, Sept 8: Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) issued 72 notices to motorists for various traffic violations during ‘Ops Pengarah’ at 15th Mile, Jalan Kuching-Serian on Friday (Sept 6).
In a Facebook post yesterday (Sept 7), JPJ Sarawak stated that a total of 716 vehicles were inspected during the operation.
“From the 72 non-compliance notices issued, the offences include using a phone while driving, driving without a licence, expired road tax, technical violations and illegal vehicle modifications.
JPJ Sarawak reminded all road users to exercise caution while on the road and adhere to the traffic laws.
For traffic complaints, they can be submitted directly through the e-Aduan application @jpj or http://jpj.spab.gov.my along with details of the complainant and that of the complaint. – DayakDaily
