TATAU, Sept 18: A six-year-old girl is missing after a crocodile snatched and dragged her underwater right before his grandfather’s eyes at Kampung Seberang Pasar Lama Tatau late this evening.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak reported that the attack occurred around 6.30pm while they were bathing by the river.

The Tatau fire station was alerted by the Tatau police station, and a team of firefighters was immediately deployed to the scene.

The search team involving firefighters, police and villagers at the jetty of Kampung Seberang Pasar Lama Tatau on Sept 18, 2024.

An urgent search operation, involving both firefighters and police, is currently ongoing along the jetty and riverbank.
