SELANGAU, June 2: A search and rescue (SAR) operation is underway for a 65-year-old man who went missing after venturing out from his home in Tinting Ampari on Jalan Dijih at about 9pm yesterday (June 1).
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak was alerted of the emergency at 9.39am today following a missing person report filed by the man’s son at the Selangau police station.

According to the son, his father was last seen wearing a collared red shirt, short pants and a farm hat.
Despite efforts by family members to search the surrounding areas, the man was not located prior to the filing of the police report. — DayakDaily
