KUCHING, Nov 30: A 61-year-old driver sustained injuries in a three-vehicle collision along Jalan Stephen Yong in Batu Kawah today.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center, they received call regarding the incident at 4.11pm and deployed firefighters from Bomba Batu Lintang to the location.
The operation commander reported that the incident involved a lorry, a Perodua Viva, and a Perodua Kancil, with the victim trapped in the driver’s seat.
Firefighters then proceeded to the extricate the victim through the vehicle’s passenger side rear door.
He was later transported to Sarawak General Hospital using the Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) for further action.
Both drivers of the lorry and the Perodua Viva were unharmed in the incident. — DayakDaily
