KUCHING, May 22: Sixty packages of daily essentials from the ‘You Donate, We Deliver’ donation campaign will reach needy households within the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) soon.
Everrise has handed over the second batch of donations to MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng at the council headquarters’ lobby today.
The first batch of donations were handed over to MBKS on May 6 and have since been successfully distributed to the targeted groups.
According to a media release, the donation campaign jointly initiated by Everrise and MBKS was aimed at helping less fortunate families and urban poor whose livelihood have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and Movement Control Order (MCO).
This joint community project between Everrise and MBKS was launched on April 25 offering three donation packages priced at RM17.90, RM33.90 and RM83.90 which can be purchased and donated via Everrise Estore mobile app.
The public, particularly Everrise customers, can lend a helping hand in supporting and providing for the vulnerable communities with daily essentials as they face this difficult time.
