60 stakeholders attend Sarawak Energy outreach session in Limbang

KUCHING, Feb 22: Some 60 representatives from various government departments attended an outreach session organised by Sarawak Energy in Limbang on Feb 14.

Led by the Group’s executive vice-president for corporate services Aisah Eden, the engagement aimed to share accurate and up to date information about Sarawak Energy specifically for Limbang and Lawas. It also served as a platform for the stakeholders to provide feedback on the service level in their respective areas.

According to a press release, during the session, stakeholders were provided updates on Sarawak Energy’s corporate, business undertakings and operations, focusing on an overview of the supply network system for Limbang and addressed issues in regards to local outages, connection charges, and electrical safety among others. The briefing also included updates on the 10.5 MW Sungai Kota 2 Mini Hydro Project, scheduled for commissioning this year, and on ongoing and upcoming projects to enhance the system reliability for the area.


Among those present were heads of various department in Limbang and community leaders, representatives from the Pusat Khidmat ADUN for Bukit Kota, Batu Danau and Pusat Khidmat Parlimen Limbang. — DayakDaily
