SERIAN, Aug 4: Six out of 36 dilapidated health clinics in Sarawak have completed repair works, with the remaining still in the implementation stages and expected to be completed by this December.
Deputy Health Minister Lukisman Awang Sauni said this during a visit to Siburan Health Clinic today.
“The projects under Projek Bitara Madani with an allocation of RM8.5 million are expected to be fully completed by this December,” he said.
He disclosed that among the dilapidated clinics in Sarawak are those in Tebekang, Tebedu, Tatau, and Bekenu.
Lukisman pointed out that more dilapidated clinics in Sarawak will be included for repair next year.
On the Type 3 Serian health clinic he visited earlier, Lukisman said the project was 76 per cent completed and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
