KUCHING, Aug 28: A temporary partial road diversion will be implemented at Jalan Green here starting Aug 27 until Feb 26, 2026, to facilitate construction works.
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) in a notice informed that the diversion will be in effect 24 hours daily for a duration of six months.
“The temporary road diversion is necessary to allow for construction works at Jalan Green,” the notice said.
Road users have been advised to be cautious when driving in the affected area and to adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro also stated that the public will be duly notified of any changes regarding the diversion.
“Road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly,” it added.
