KUCHING, July 15: A family of three suffered minor injuries after their vehicle plunged into a 30-meter ravine along Jalan SK Kelawit in Tatau.
According to a report from Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak operation center today, a distress call by members of the public was received at 3.06pm before firefighters from Bomba Tatau were deployed to the location.
“The victims, including a four-year-old child, managed to safely get out of the vehicle before the arrival of firefighters,” it said.
It added that all three of them were later brought to a safer location nearby using a stretcher by firefighters before being handed to medical personnel waiting at the ambulance for further action. — DayakDaily
