486 Sri Pertiwi apartments for B40 and M40 groups in Batu Kawah will be completed in 2023

KUCHING, Nov 23: Sarawakian citizens or permanent residents from the B40 and M40 groups that have a gross household income of between RM4,000 and RM10,000 can apply for the coming Sri Pertiwi Affordable Housing Project.

Expected to be ready in 2023, the housing project located at Eden Parade in Jalan Batu Kawah here, will have a total of 486 apartment units.

Each unit is priced at RM295,000 and features 960 square feet of living space with three rooms and two bathrooms.


The nine-storey Sri Pertiwi apartment undertaken by developer Lee On Development Sdn Bhd, is gated and 24-hours guarded and also comes complete with a community hall.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was present to officiate the earth-breaking ceremony of the Sri Pertiwi project today.

Accessible from Jalan Batu Kawa and from Desa Wira Lorong 3 via a new bridge set to be built for ease of access, the new housing development project with an acreage of approximately 35.3 is situated within an exciting new township that composes commercial, residential, lifestyle, education, petrol kiosk, wet market and other public amenities, spanning over 260 acres of prime property apposite MJC Batu Kawah Township. — DayakDaily
