SIBU, Aug 30: Four passengers were injured, including a 44-year-old woman who was critically hurt, in a single-vehicle crash along Jalan Song this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Song received the emergency call at about 1.12pm and immediately dispatched a team to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found four victims, aged between 15 and 44, who had already been assisted out of the vehicle by bystanders. The group comprised two men and two women.
Although no extrication was required, firefighters helped transfer one victim who had fallen into a drain to a safe location using a stretcher, and provided first aid to the injured.
Two victims were taken to the Song Health Clinic by their relatives, while the remaining two were handed over to paramedics and transported by ambulance for further treatment. — DayakDaily
