KUCHING, Nov 24: A 44-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in a road accident along Jalan Sultan Tengah yesterday (Nov 23).
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, they received a call at 10.56pm and deployed Bomba Petra Jaya to the location.
The operations commander reported that in the single-vehicle accident, the victim was found unconscious inside his vehicle after crashing into a tree.
The victim was later extracted by firefighters and was given initial medical treatment by the Emergency Medical Response Team before being pronounced dead at the location by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The deceased’s body was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
