KUCHING, Dec 5: A 36-year-old woman suffered facial injuries and a leg and arm fracture in a two-vehicle collision on Jalan Camar today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Petra Jaya responded to the emergency at 5.42pm and quickly dispatched a team of firefighters to the scene.
The crash involved a Perodua Axia and a Mitsubishi 4WD. The woman, trapped inside the Perodua Axia, was rescued by the Bomba team.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, who sustained minor injuries, was transported to the hospital by a member of the public prior to the firefighters’ arrival.
After assessing the situation, firefighters used a specialided rescue tool to free the woman, who was then handed over to paramedics in the awaiting ambulance for further treatment. — DayakDaily
