KUCHING, Nov 14: A 35-year-old man from Kuching with diabetes, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease is among the six Covid-19 related deaths reported in the state today.
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today, the deceased is also the youngest patient recorded among Covid-19 deaths in the past four days, and had passed away at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) on Nov 12.
Of the total deaths, one brought-in-dead (BID) case was reported in Sibu Hospital on Nov 10, involving a 71-year-old woman from Sibu, who had no medical history.
Two other fatalities were also recorded on Nov 10, involving a 90-year-old man from Sibu, who passed away in Sibu Hospital, had chronic kidney disease and required assistance in daily life, while another case involved a 58-year-old man from Limbang who passed away in Lawas Hospital with high blood pressure, diabetes, and dyslipidemia.
Between Nov 11 and 13, two deaths were also reported in Kuching involving two women aged 77 and 67, both passed away in SGH and suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer.
With a total of six deaths recorded since Nov 10 until today, the state’s death toll stands at 1,516. — DayakDaily
