Kuching District Police Chief ACP Alexson Naga said police received a report on Oct 8 from a 52-year-old local man who stated that he had been informed by his friend the previous night that his daughter had died.
“Initial investigation revealed that the victim is believed to have been abused until she died,” he said in a statement today.
Following the report, a team from the Kuching District Criminal Investigation Division arrested a local man at Kampung Krian, Jalan Padawan, around 11am today.
