MIRI, March 11: A total of 32 projects worth RM5 million will be implemented this year in the Piasau constituency under the rural transformation programme (RTP), said Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts I Dato Sebastian Ting Chew Yew.

“This includes five recreational parks to be built within residential areas,” he said after inspecting the completed recreational park at Taman Delight 1B here.

The park worth RM100,000 began construction on October 11 last year and was completed on January 15.

However, the Piasau assemblyman added there were some delays in the shipment of construction materials from Kuala Lumpur.

ā€œWith the completion of the park, I hope residents here would make full use of the facilities to strengthen bonds between family members and participate in healthy activities,” he said.

After that, Ting also inspected the RTP projects at Taman Delight 1A and Taman Delight 8. ā€” DayakDaily
