KUCHING, Dec 7: A 31-year-old man died after being trapped when a drilling rig fell on his four-wheel drive vehicle in Kampung Peruan, Jalan Long Tuma, Lawas today.
According to a report by Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received the distress call at 4.55pm and arrived at the scene eight kilometres away by 5.03pm.

The victim, identified as Bili Muli, was still trapped inside a Mitsubishi Triton when rescuers arrived. Firefighters used specialised road traffic accident (RTA) equipment to extract him.
Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
