SIBU, Feb 18: Rh Rebah Nanga Tutus here was razed by fire this morning, leaving 31 people including 5 children homeless.
According to a report by Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), they received a call regarding the incident at 8.52am and subsequently deployed a team of firefighters from Sungai Merah Fire Station to the scene.
“The fire has razed the seven-door longhouse about 90 per cent. However, no casualties were reported.
“The fire was brough under control three minutes since the first spray,” the report said. — DayakDaily
